Primark's PR Problem

Yesterday Primark were being severely critised by all sorts of agencies, politicians and angry parents about their shiny, pink sparkly padded bikini.

They quickly spotted a PR nightmare and removed them and have donated their profits from the bikini to a children's charity.

Even David Cameron got in on the bandwagon.

But what do you think of it?

Do you think retailers have a responsibility to monitor what they sell or is it a parent's responsibility to guide, direct and say "no" to their kids over what they wear?

I remember the same sort of fracas when the Playboy logo was over all the place with young people completely unaware of what they were buying in to.

So I'm pondering and trying to make up my mind - what are your thoughts?
